Hi, I am Cameron "Cam", owner and founder of CH Gilliam Construction. Building has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a second-generation custom home builder, I grew up learning the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and doing things the right way. I began working full-time as a carpenter at 18, became a lead carpenter and licensed contractor in 2008, and started CHGC as a side business in 2003, working nights and weekends while continuing to hone my craft. In December 2019, I took the leap to operate full-time under my own company. With my father nearing retirement, I wanted the opportunity to build something under my own name and prove to myself that I could carry on the tradition while creating my own path.

My passion has always been finish and trim carpentry, where precision and attention to detail truly shine. While material selections may vary from project to project, one thing never changes: my commitment to quality workmanship. I refuse to compromise on how a home is built, finished, and cared for throughout the process.

My wife, Carrie, and I were married in June 2006, and in September 2013 we welcomed our son, Case. Family is at the center of everything I do. When I'm not on a job site, you'll often find me involved in our church, coaching town baseball, participating in the local Home Builders Association, or working on carpentry projects simply because I enjoy the craft.

My vision for CHGC is simple: to provide something people truly need without losing the artistry and craftsmanship that make a house feel like home. Every project is an opportunity to create something lasting, beautiful, and built with care.
